For companies expanding upon their virtualization capabilities the IBM Storage TS3500 gives support for the TS7700 virtualization engine too. For an entry level user, the library will come with 1 base frame and expansion option to allow the customer to utilize up to 15 frames. The IBM TS3500 can house up to 12 tape drives per bay with a total of 192 per library so as storage needs growth, this library has no problem keeping up.
This high functional IBM TS3500 comes with the flexibility to connect to IBM System i, System z, System x, and non-IBM servers too. For mid-level or enterprise sized datacenters the IBM TS3500 Tape Library will definitely accommodate your storage needs.
