Featuring database-optimized configurations, IBM model 7145 servers are well-suited for virtualization, database and enterprise environments. Also offering enhanced performance, reliability and availability, model 7145 x3850 x5 servers feature a SAS controller, up to 64 DIMM slots for up to 1,024GB of maximum memory, up to 8 SFF SAS HDDs, and more.

Equipped with a choice between 6, 8 or 10 core Intel Xeon processors, model 7143 IBM System x3850 X5 servers offer high-powered processing power. Other advantageous features of IBM model 7143 servers are optional IBM MAX5 memory expansion and eXFlash high-performance SSD storage. With the optional MAX5 memory expansion, a dual-node model 7143 x3850 X5 server system can accommodate up to 192 DIMM slots for up to 3TB of maximum memory.
