When thinking of how you should configure your datacenter, you want a device that will deliver power, virtualization, and keep your IT cost down.  The IBM HS22V Blade Server will combine all of these features, and then some, to help you reach your goals in your server environment.  Deciding to go with the HS22V Blade, you will see the power displayed within the Xeon 5600 and 5500 series processors.  These processors can be either 6-Core, 4-Core, or 2-Core.  The system can support up to 2 processors at a speed of 1.86 GHz to 3.06 GHz.  In order to provide better performance of your virtualization environment, the IBM HS22V Server is equipped with 18 DIMM Slots that support up to 144GB of memory with 18VLP DDR-3 memory DIMMS.

You can be sure that the IBM BladeCenter HS22V will work with your current environment, because it is compatible with all previous IBM Bladecenter Chassis.  Additional specifications for the IBM HS22V Blade Server are that it supports two 1.8" Solid State Drives (SSD), optional embedded hypervisor, 1 standard CIOv and high speed CFFh expansion slot, IBM Integrated Management Module (IMM), virtual Fabric for Bladecenter, and a high speed I/O that will support up to (4) 10GB Ethernet or 8 ports of virtual I/O to each blade via virtual fabric.
