HP c7000 Blade Enclosure

The HP BladeSystem C7000 enclosure is at the core of the HP blade infrastructure. The c7000 houses all of the power, cooling, and I/O in a space-saving 10U chassis that can accommodate up to 16 server or storage blades. Also featuring 8 available interconnect bays, HP customers have a myriad of different options when it comes to Ethernet, Fibre Channel and/or Virtual Connect technologies. This means that customers utilizing HP C-Class c7000 blade enclosure realize greater modularity, redundancy, and flexibility over industry offerings. With the different data center power requirements in use, the HP c7000 enclosure’s power offerings are up to the challenge through a pooled-power backplane. HP BladeSystem c7000 blade enclosures also feature a shared 5Tbps non-stop midplane, as well as optional redundant network and storage interconnect modules.
