Featuring the latest AMD Opteron™ processors and integrated HP Virtual Connect FlexFabric architecture, the 7th generation BL685c helps simplify network connections and delivers cost-effective, scalable, dense four-processor performance for virtualization and compute-intensive database applications.

The HP ProLiant BL685c G7 is a c-Class server blade that will accommodate up to four (4) - eight or twelve core AMD series processors. The BL685c G7 can populate 32 slots of memory with a maximum of 512GB of ECC DDR3 memory. It uses a Smart Array P410 controller with 1MB flash backed cache to manager up to 2 small form factor hot-plug SATA, SAS or SSD drives. Two (2) Embedded 10Gb dual port converged network adapters simplify management and lower infrastructure costs by converging LAN and SAN traffic over the same flexible connection. The BL685c G7 offers users up to sixteen (16) connections to network and storage without the need for add-in mezzanine cards.
