The HP ProLiant BL685c G6 is a C-Class HP blade server that comes highly recommended for datacenters looking to consolidate and virtualize. It can handle intense applications with up to 4 Quad-Core AMD 8300 Series processors.

There is no denying that the BL685c G6 server holds a lot of memory. It can be configured with up to 256GB of memory using PC2--5300 in 32 slots or 128GB of PC2-6400 Registered DIMMS in 32 slots. The HP BL685c G6 can house up to 2 small form factor internal hot-plug SATA or SAS drives. The BL685c G6 server comes with an integrated P400i storage controller that supports RAIDS 0 and 1. The network controller is made up of 2 NC532i 10Gbe adapters for manageability and it comes with the integrated Lights-Out 2, which gives the customer flexibility to open the virtual remote console and server setup.
