Additionally, HP BL600 series blade servers are ideal for the virtualized environments of modern data centers due to their incomparable expansion capabilities as a 4-socket HP blade server, ranging from 3 to 7 expansion slots based upon the specifics of the model as well as overall enhanced scalability.

The HP ProLiant BL600 series are equipped with the latest technology from either Intel Xeon or AMD Opteron 4 core processors, ranging from 1 to 4 processors depending on the model type. Additional features of BL 600 series servers include a range of 32 to 64 Dual In-line Memory Module (DIMM) slots, a maximum memory ranging from 512 Gigabit (Gb) to 2 Terabyte (Tb), and a total processor core range starting at 4 and maxing out at 48. When it comes to infrastructure management, the HP BL600 series offers advanced technologies including Integrated Lights Out 2 (iLO 2) or Integrated Lights Out 3 (iLO 3) for secure remote control.
