HP Proliant BL200 Series Blade Servers

The HP ProLiant BL200 series features several different models, allowing every business size to find one ideally-suited to their needs. For instance, some ProLiant BL 200 servers are idea for large scale-out data centers, while others are idea for cloud computing data centers or high performance computing customers. In addition to model varieties, the BL 200 series also offers a wide selection of feature options such as multiple redundant features, various I/O options, a multitude of network interconnect alternatives and technologies such as Integrated Lights Out (iLO-2) and HP Virtual Connect. To increase performance beyond what is allowed for in the broad range of available features, the BL 200 series lends itself well to virtualization, which can be used to enhance server consolidation, increase efficiency, reduce costs and simplify management.

Some of the main advantages of the BL200 series of HP blade servers include their extreme computing density, high power efficiency, advanced management and configuration tools and remote management options including time-smart management software and Insight Control Environment. Designed to support the latest Intel Xeon processors, HP ProLiant BL 200 servers are able to provide a lot of power within a small amount of space – allowing them to be both cost and space-efficient server options without compromising computing power.  Also enabling reduced power consumption and increased energy efficiency, ProLiant BL200 servers are environmentally-conscious “green” blade server options. Great Lakes Computer offers multiple generations of the HP ProLiant BL 200 series: BL 2x220c, BL260c and BL280c.
