The Integrity rx8640 server series offers high end business performance as well as maximum scalability for business critical needs. The ability to partition the server allows for even more flexibility for an application environment.

The rx8620 and the newer rx8640 allow a range of configurations to meet business needs. Choose one Itanium Monticito CPU with minimal memory and hard drive space or max it out climbing to sixteen dual core Itanium Montvale CPU’s with 512GB’s of memory and eight 300GB hard drives. Adding partitions allows one to split the internal hardware to act as separate servers. Users even have the choice of four separate operating environments to choose from including the HP-UX, OpenVMS, Linux, or Windows.

The entire Integrity server line boasts of longevity and investment protection with its ability to easily adapt to any existing IT infrastructure. The Integrity series Itanium processor uses the same HP zx1 Chipset designed to be compatible with the HP9000 server line. The rx8640 servers were designed with standardization in mind to allow for easy in-box upgrades from one model to the next.
