HP Integrity BL860c i2 Blade Server
The HP Integrity BL860c i2 delivers the performance, reliability, and availability on 64-bit operating systems (HP-UX 11i v3, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 for Itanium-based systems and OpenVMS v8.4) for the ultimate in scalability and flexibility in deployment. The HP Integrity BL860c i2 server blade is a two-socket full-height blade featuring the latest Intel Itanium processor 9300 series, with features such as Intel Cache Safe Technology and error hardened latches. The processors are supported by up to 384 Gigabytes (GB) memory through up to 24 Dual In-line Memory Module (DIMM) slots with double chip spare, enabling a large memory footprint for demanding applications, and features 4 Flex-10 (10 Gigabit) Ethernet ports standard.
The HP Integrity BL860c i2 blade servers feature HP's Virtual Connect Flex-10 technology, which enables it to offer up to sixteen (16) FlexNIC ports of Ethernet connectivity before adding additional server adapters. Up to two (2) hot plug small form factor (SFF) SAS hard disk drives can be supported by the embedded smart array P410 RAID controller. Customers have access to three (3) additional I/O expansion slots via mezzanine cards. The HP Integrity BL860c i2 server blade is a full-height blade that will coexist with ProLiant server blades and StorageWorks storage blades within a BladeSystem c-Class enclosure. The BL860c i2 features HP’s unique Blade Link technology, which allows customers to combine multiple 2 socket blades together, creating BL870 i2 (4 socket) or BL890 i2 (8 socket) systems, providing greater future scalability and flexibility.
