Equipped with 4 AMD Opteron 6100 series processors, the Dell Power Edge R815 offers the capability to scale up to 48 processor cores for an enhanced processor density that simplifies networking and cuts costs. Highly reliable and easy-to-use, the Dell PowerEdge R815 is ideal for applications such as virtualization, high-performance computing applications, multi-threaded applications, medium-sized databases and more. A cost-effective option, the Dell PE R815 has a maximum internal storage of 3 terabyte (TB) and a maximum memory of 512 Gigabyte (GB) to offer maximum value in a minimum form.

One feature that makes the Dell PowerEdge R815 so easy-to-use is its simplified management portfolio called the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator. Offering advanced systems management, there are several useful features integrated within the system, one of which is the Lifecycle Controller.
