Cisco Catalyst 3750-X Switches

The enterprise-class Cisco Catalyst 3750-X switch series offers both standalone and stackable switch options.  Cisco's Stackwise Plus technology offers customers the flexibility of stacking up to 9 physical Cisco 3750-X switches, yet having them operate as a single, unified logical device. The management of the Cisco Catalyst 3750X stack is simplified by using a single IP address. In addition to simplifying management and operation, Cisco StackWise Plus technology was created to allow customers to pay as their network grows.  Ideal for top of rack or wiring closet deployments, Cisco Catalyst 3750-X switches also feature technologies such as: MACSec, in order to ensure data confidentiality; TrustSec, in order to provide identity-based access control; and Flexible NetFlow, in order to protect enterprise networks from malicious behavior.

The Cisco Catalyst 3750-X switch series features Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) with 30W power on all ports, in compact 1 rack unit (RU) form factor. The Cisco Catalyst 3750X series configurations include 24 and 48 10/100/1000 PoE+ and non-PoE models, with optional four Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) SFP or two 10GbE SFP+ uplink network modules. Offering high performance, the maximum throughput of all Cisco 3750X switches in a stack is 64Gbps. Feature sets offered for Catalyst 3750-X switches include Local Area Network (LAN) base, IP Base image and IP Services image.  In order to have a working stack, the same feature set must be run across all members of the 3750-X stack. Other advantageous features of Cisco Catalyst 3750-X switches include StackPower technology, redundant power supplies and cooling fans, Strict Priority Queuing, Cisco EnergyWise technology, Intelligent Power Management and Traffic Simulator.
