Cisco Catalyst 3560-X Switches
The enterprise-class Cisco Catalyst 3560-X switch is a standalone solution that comes in three available feature sets. Depending on your needs, you can choose from IP Base, Local Area Network (LAN) Base and IP services. IP Base feature set provides baseline enterprise services in addition to all LAN Base features. The LAN Base feature set includes enhanced intelligent services that offer comprehensive Layer 2 features. The IP Services feature set provides Layer 3 advanced features such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM), and IPv6 routing such as OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6. Cisco 3560-X switches also offer identity-based access control through TrustSec, data confidentiality through MACSec and protection from malicious behavior through Flexible NetFlow.
Cisco Catalyst 3560-X switches offer up to 30W of enhanced Power over Ethernet (PoE+) on all ports. For the first time, this industry leading technology is offered in a 1 rack unit (RU) form factor. The Cisco Catalyst 3560X series has the ability to run dual redundant, modular power supplies and fans. These switches ship with one power supply and a second power supply can be added for redundancy. Uplink modules are not included in the default configurations. These uplinks modules come in two options including a four Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) port module or a two 10GbE port module. The Cisco Catalyst 3560X series provides efficient switch operations for the industry's best-in-class power management and power consumption capabilities. Operational costs are reduced through easy to use control features, Cisco smart operations and intelligent network management tools.
