Cisco Catalyst 3560 Switches
The Cisco Catalyst 3560 series of fixed configuration, enterprise-class switches are ideally-suited to act as access layer switches for small enterprise Local Area Network (LAN) access as well as for branch office environments. Cisco Catalyst 3560 switches can include Power over Ethernet (PoE) (802.3af and Cisco pre-standard) functionality in Fast Ethernet and 10/100/1000 configurations. Available port counts for Cisco 3560 switches are 8, 12, 24, and 48. Catalyst 3560 models also come standard with 2 or 4 SFP-based transceiver slots for uplink connectivity. Another great advantage of the Cisco Catalyst 3560 series of switches is that they support the IPv6 standard. Some additional highlighted features of 3560 switches include advanced quality of service (QoS), rate limiting, access control lists (ACL), multicast management, and high performance IP routing.
