Cisco 2960 Switch

The Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switches are a family of standalone Layer 2 fixed-configuration switches, that primarily provide desktop connectivity. They can include non-PoE and PoE (802.3af and Cisco pre-standard) functionality in Fast Ethernet and 10/100/1000 configurations. Available port counts in the Cisco 2960 switch are 8, 24, and 48. Most models come standard with 2 or 4 dual-personality ports. These ports can be used as either 10/100/1000 Copper or an SFP can be installed for fiber uplink connectivity.

The Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series switches support the IPv6 standard. Highlighted features include Network Admission Control (NAC), advance quality of service (QoS), rate limiting, access control lists (ACL), and multicast management. Cisco 2960 configurations are available new and refurbished in 11 different models.
