Juniper SSG20
The purpose built Juniper SSG20 security appliance delivers a perfect mix of security, routing, performance and LAN/WAN connectivity for standalone business deployments, fixed telecommuters and small branch offices. The SSG20 offers a firewall throughput of 160Mbps, up to 40 concurrent VPN tunnels, 2 expansion slots for WAN connectivity or other physical interfaces, and an optional wireless model. The base and extended models include (5) 10/100 ports. All SSG firewall models have the ability to provide Antivirus, Web Filtering, Anti Spam, and Intrusion Prevention with the appropriate licensing. This Unified Threat Management (UTM) suite requires a high memory version of the SSG.
Juniper Secure Services Gateways support an enhanced set of security features such as virtual routers, security zones and VLANs that give administrators the ability to provide unique security policies to secure domains. Customers can use either the WEBUI, command line interface (CLI) or Juniper Networks network and security manager (NSM) to manage the device from any location. This improves response time and reduces operational costs, while eliminating onsite visits. An option for increased VLANs, VPN tunnels, sessions and stateful high availability (HA), is offered with the purchase of an Extended license.
