Juniper SSG140
The high performance SSG140 security devices are a great fit for small/medium sized standalone businesses or branch offices that want to stop unauthorized access and prevent attacks. The SSG140 offers a firewall throughput of 350 Mbps and up to 500 concurrent VPN tunnels. The base and extended models include (8) 10/100 and (2) 10/100/1000 ports. Four expansion slots also offer support for WAN connectivity or other physical interfaces All SSG firewall models have the ability to provide Antivurs, Web Filtering, Anti Spam, and Intrusion Prevention with the appropriate licensing. This Unified Threat Management (UTM) suite requires a high memory version of the SSG.
Juniper Secure Services Gateways support an enhanced set of security features such as virtual routers, security zones and VLANs that give administrators the ability to provide unique security policies to secure domains. Customers can either use the WEBUI, command line interface (CLI) or Juniper Networks network and security manager (NSM) to manage the device from any location. This improves response time and reduces operational costs, while eliminating onsite visits. An option for increased VLANs, VPN tunnels, sessions and stateful high availability (HA), is offered with the purchase of an Extended license.
