The following is a list of technical services that we offer, which would be considered incremental to our free integration and testing that is included with every order.
On-site Services:
On-site installations, implementations and upgrades are available within the continental United States.
Server Installation:
ProLiant, Alpha, VAX, Sun, HP-9000, X-Series, P-Series, Itanium.
Storage Services:
- SAN design and implementation.
- HP Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA)

Break/Fix Services
Great Lakes Computer offers “break-fix” services on most equipment. There is a 1-hour minimum diagnostic & repair fee.
Software Installation:
Service charges apply to where a customer has requested the loading of software that is over and above the basic operating system installation.
Remote Consultation Services
Great Lakes Computer offers remote technical assistance to facilitate the set up of a system upon arrival at the client’s location. The initial 30-minutes of technical consultation is complementary for a client, an additional benefit of doing business with GLC.
Equipment Audits
This includes testing and itemized audited reports of the components identified during the breakdown process.
Contact your Great Lakes Computer Account Representative for current labor rates. Standard rates apply to normal business hours (M-F 8am to 5pm). There is a surcharge for extended Business Hours (5pm – 8am & Saturdays & Sunday).
