Essential Duties
· Prospect for new business through cold calling
· Qualify new business relationships by quoting, configuring, and selling computer hardware systems (DEC/Compaq/HP, IBM, Sun)
· Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with customers
· Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
· Maintain customer relationships that you have built
· Close business deals
· Collaborate with Technical Engineers and other sales associates in developing and executing account strategies
· Develop and update Market Development Plan weekly
· Stay current with industry trends, best practices and competitive conditions within territory
Qualifications:
· College Degree (Associates or Bachelors)
· 1 year sales experience
· Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
· Ability to articulate products, services, solutions to meet customer requirements
· Highly energetic and enthusiastic
· Superb communication skills
· Excellent negotiating and closing skills
